I got a call from Mark Wyman, my attorney. He said that the contract negotiations are in Stage Three, and that I should have a contract to sign and some money by early next week. He explained a few clauses he managed to get for me, such as reversion rights for three projects, Mariachi, "Bedhead," and the Hospital Project (meaning something to the effect that they could develop the material but I would get it back after a certain amount of time if it wasn't getting made). He also explained a bit of the three-month extension specifications; such as that during the time after the two-year deal, if Columbia extends my contract for the optional three months, I have to give them at least three ideas of something I want to produce at that time.
